Tom Bateman is an affiliate of Gail Golden Consulting, LLC. He is a long-time chaired professor at the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, teaching leadership to practicing managers and students at all levels and in many countries around the world. He has been an active researcher for decades, publishing articles in top professional journals and a management textbook now in its 13th edition. He also writes regularly for Psychology Today on leadership and psychology in the workplace. His current professional interests include leading proactive change, leadership as collaborative problem solving, and the psychology of sustainability and climate action.
