As a start-up entrepreneur I have been able to leverage Gail’s advice on multiple levels.  First of all, she is a sounding board for my personal anxieties as I develop and fine tune my leadership skills.  Just as important is her very practical advice regarding the constant day to day Human Resource issues that come up when you are dealing with a new company and trying to establish the corporate culture of the organization.

Gail has enabled my team to grow through a better understanding of the make up of each individual’s strengths, to benefit how we work together as a team.   She has coached us throughout a very volatile period of challenge and change in a very large organization. She has used appropriate tools such as the “Strengths Finder” and “Myers Briggs” to bridge a better understanding of our organization, our team and ourselves as individuals.

I have had the benefit of learning from Gail about myself as a leader which has helped me lead and participate with my team in a far more productive and collaborative way.  She has helped me navigate very rough waters by not letting me lose my self, my purpose and my relevance as a leader.   She has taught me the difference between “who I am” and “what I do.”  She has helped me connect with other leaders who have unique voices, helping us to stand for each other so we do not get lost in the system.   I know that Gail will always be there for me and I hope we will be working together in the future.  She is a compassionate and considerate person with tremendous skill and talent, an asset for any organization.

I wanted to thank you for the insights that you provided to me while we worked together. Last year was a really tough one for me, but after a great deal of reflection, humility and hard work, I am receiving great feedback on my leadership.  I could not have gotten to this place without your coaching and input, and I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your help.

Thank you for an excellent discussion yesterday about starting the next chapter.  You ask straightforward, provocative questions that quickly help focus both the discussion and the thinking.  Your approach to figuring out where I want to go next on the career front is clear.  And your approach to networking with so many people makes perfect sense.

Gail, thank you for time, your guidance, and your enthusiasm.  Everything about our conversation was fantastic.

I am an executive at Best Buy and have had the pleasure to work with Ms. Gail Golden for the past 5 years in a personal and team coaching capacity.

Gail made a significant difference in the relationship with my employees. Her encouraging attitude, positive inquiry and perceptiveness convinced me and the employee that she was the best person. We were both highly satisfied with the outcomes the follow up and the ongoing support.

For anyone who would like a partner to help them think critically, strategically, and constructively about leadership, organizational development and professional growth, Gail is the woman for you!

Thanks again for being so generous with your time and advice and your introductions to others in your network. You are a super person. One thing I read about goal-setting recently is that people who set ambitious goals but are “realistic” about the obstacles do better than the ones who just focus on visualizing success. That’s where you were very helpful yesterday–sometimes wise cheerleading is more helpful than unbridled optimism!
